Tae Kwon Do – Martial Arts America

Private lessons afford the opportunity to train one-on-one with Master Dan. Offered in the morning, they provide accelerated learning and refinement of technique, in a framework designed to take the student from beginner to Black Belt in a personal environment.7th Dan Test 051

Although suitable for all ranks and ages, private lessons are ideal for parents, adults and executives whose schedules prevent regular attendance in evening classes. They are also perfect for students who wish to augment their group training experience.

Martial Arts America’s Master Academy is a comprehensive program designed to take students from beginner to Black Belt. We devote our experience and expertise to helping students reach their goals and master the art of Taekwondo.blackbelt-(195)_edited-1

Martial arts were originally aimed at the preservation of life, but today people from all walks of life come to us with their own reasons for training: Some want to acquire skill, some enjoy tournaments and competition, others want to belong to the community of martial artists, still others just want to have fun, and nearly all seek improved physical fitness.

Our techniques are based on centuries-old knowledge, but our application of that knowledge sets Martial Arts America apart. We realize that individuals possess unique physical abilities, and strength and flexibility vary from student to student – so while everyone obtains a strong foundation in the basics, we also identify and refine the personal abilities which will maximize an individual’s skill. Our students acquire the mental and physical knowledge necessary for defending themselves and their loved ones should the need arise.

Although the ability to defend oneself is important, there are even greater benefits to be gained from our children’s program. By building self-confidence and instilling self-control, we help kids deal with the challenges they face growing up, including peer pressure, disconnection, drugs and gangs.7th Dan Test 073

Self-discipline is defined as the ability to control one’s feelings, overcome one’s weaknesses, and pursue what one thinks is right despite temptations to abandon it. By embodying these values, the Martial Arts America team has made a profound commitment to today’s youngsters. We teach our students using a basic philosophy of positive reinforcement. Our fun and engaging training techniques:
