What is Futsal?
Futsal is a 5-on-5 form of soccer that’s played indoors (without walls) on a basketball sized field using a smaller, heavier low bounce ball.
Benefits of Futsal over traditional soccer:
The size & weight of the ball results in it being on the floor more often, which helps in developing agility and ball control skills, including passing, receiving and dribbling.
With fewer players on the field, each player has more opportunity to handle the ball.
Due to the size of the field, players are frequently placed in one-on-one encounters with opponents. This helps develop their reflexes and to learn to make decisions quickly under pressure.
